Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By engaging Bathurst Plumbing for plumbing services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all work carried out by us at properties in Bathurst and the Central Tablelands.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are provided free of charge and represent a fixed price for the scope of work described. If additional work is discovered during the job that was not included in the original scope, we will advise you and obtain your approval before proceeding. All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
3. Licensing and Compliance
All work is carried out by NSW Fair Trading licensed tradespeople. Certificates of Compliance are issued for all notifiable work as required by NSW law. You are entitled to receive a copy of all compliance documentation on completion of work.
4. Warranty
We warrant all workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of completion. Manufacturer's warranties on materials and equipment are in addition to this workmanship warranty. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, alterations by others, or events outside our control.
5. Access and Site Conditions
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. If site conditions at the time of work are materially different from those present when the quote was provided, we reserve the right to revise the quoted price. We will advise you of any changes before proceeding.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger projects, staged payments may be arranged. We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or card. Overdue accounts may be subject to interest at the rate of 2% per month.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We carry $20 million public liability insurance. We are not liable for consequential losses, loss of income, or damage arising from circumstances outside our control.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with NSW dispute resolution processes.
