Gas Instantaneous vs Gas Storage
Gas instantaneous (continuous flow) systems heat water on demand — no storage tank, no standby heat losses. They're compact, efficient, and deliver an essentially unlimited supply of hot water. They're excellent for medium to large households with consistent hot water demand.
Gas storage systems heat and maintain a tank of hot water — simpler mechanically and slightly more forgiving of peak demand variation. They're a good choice for smaller households or where budget is a primary consideration.
Both require a gas fitting licence to install and connect in NSW. Both come with a Certificate of Compliance for Gas Work from us on installation.
